1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our application (the "App", "Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the App.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account and use the App.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You can form a binding contract.
• You are not barred from using the service under the laws of the United States, the EU, or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• You have never been convicted of, or pled no contest to, a felony, a sex crime, or any crime involving violence, and that you are not required to register as a sex offender with any state, federal, or local sex offender registry.

Technical Disclaimer: We do not currently conduct criminal background checks or identity verification checks on our users. You use the platform at your own risk.

3. ACCOUNT SECURITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the login credentials you use to sign up (including Google or Apple accounts, or your email/password). You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
If you suspect unauthorized access (e.g., account takeover, stolen device), you must notify us immediately. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT AND CONTENT

We do not tolerate abusive, illegal, or harmful behavior. You agree that you will NOT:

• Impersonate any person or entity, or post any images of another person without their explicit consent (Catfishing).
• Use the App for any illegal purpose, including prostitution, human trafficking, or the sale of illegal goods (drugs, weapons).
• Upload, send, or distribute any material that contains nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content in public profiles.
• ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CSAM & NCII: Upload, send, or distribute Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII / "Revenge Porn"). Such actions will result in an immediate, permanent ban and automatic reporting to relevant law enforcement agencies (e.g., NCMEC).
• Use the App to harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, extort, or blackmail other users.
• Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to access the App, harvest data, or reverse engineer our API (Cloud Functions / Firestore).
• Create multiple accounts or attempt to create a new account after being permanently banned (Ban Evasion).

5. CONTENT AND LICENSES

5.1. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the text, photos, and information you upload ("User Content"). However, by uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right and license to host, store, use, copy, display, and process that content in order to operate the App, display your profile to other users, and moderate the platform.

5.2. Platform Content

The App, including its code, design, matching algorithms, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, nonexclusive, revocable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

6. MODERATION, SUSPENSION, AND TERMINATION

We utilize automated systems (including basic text filtering and AI analysis) alongside human moderation to detect violations of these Terms.

• We reserve the right to review any User Content, including private messages, if an account is reported by another user or flagged by our automated systems.
• We may temporarily restrict, shadowban, or permanently terminate your account at any time without notice or liability if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
• Upon termination, you will not be entitled to any refund for purchases or subscriptions.

7. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

The App may offer premium features, subscriptions, or virtual currency ("In-App Purchases").

• Billing Providers: Purchases are processed exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), managed technically via RevenueCat. We do not process payments directly.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period through your device's account settings. Deleting the App or deleting your App account does NOT cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: Generally, all charges for purchases are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. Except where required by mandatory local consumer law (e.g., EU 14-day right of withdrawal), refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google.

8. REAL-WORLD MEETINGS: ASSUMPTION OF RISK (CRITICAL DISCLAIMER)

WHERE LEGALLY PERMITTED, YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

You understand that we do not conduct criminal background checks on users or inquire into the backgrounds of users. We make no representations or warranties as to the conduct or identity of users.
You agree to take all necessary precautions in all interactions with other users, particularly if you decide to communicate off the App (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram) or meet in person. You agree that the Platform is not liable for any damages, injury, or death resulting from physical meetings, offline interactions, fraud, romance scams, or any off-platform activity.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE PLATFORM, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR PHYSICAL INJURY, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS, WHETHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE.

(Note: Certain jurisdictions, including the EU, do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages for consumer contracts, so these exclusions may not fully apply to you depending on your location).

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Unless prohibited by local mandatory law, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction/State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert City, Country], and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
